
Milan, March 29, 2025 – The Rwandan Community in Italy (CRI) gathered for its General Assembly to elect a new committee that will lead and represent the community for the coming term. The assembly took place at La Casa delle Associazioni in Via Saponaro 20, Milan, with votes also collected from a simultaneous election in Rome.
The meeting, chaired by outgoing President Beathé Ntamanyoma, opened with words of gratitude for the work of the previous committee and a presentation of the main activities carried out during their mandate. A moment of reflection and appreciation set the stage for the democratic process that followed.
🗳️ Election Results
After presenting the candidates, members cast their votes—both in person and remotely. The counting process, led by the Secretary and the election team, resulted in the following outcomes:

- President: Alain Pacifique Ndayishimiye
- Vice President: Justin Niyonzima
- Secretary: Samantha Gahamanyi
- Treasurer: Kevin Uwimana Tuyishimiye and Etoile Uwamurigo
All newly elected members officially accepted their roles, committing to work with dedication, transparency, and unity for the growth and wellbeing of the Rwandan diaspora in Italy.

The assembly was not only about governance—it was also a time to celebrate community and culture. The event concluded with the postponed celebration of International Women’s Day, recognizing the vital role of women in the community.
With renewed leadership and a strong sense of purpose, the Rwandan Community in Italy looks forward to a future of empowerment, collaboration, and positive impact—both locally and internationally.
