The Rwandan Community in Italy is expanding its media platform and invites motivated individuals to join the Diaspora Media Team as volunteer writers.
Our objective is to strengthen the voice of the Rwandan Diaspora by publishing high-quality content in Kinyarwanda, English and Italian, fostering connection, dialogue and positive engagement within our community and beyond.
We are looking for responsible, creative and committed contributors who are passionate about writing, storytelling and community development.
Role & Responsibilities
As a volunteer writer, you will:
- Contribute at least one article per month in your preferred language
- Cover community events and initiatives
- Conduct interviews and write feature stories
- Share insights on culture, youth, integration and diaspora affairs
- Collaborate with the editorial team for content review and publication
